iPhone/iPad - Problem with account settings

If you get an error messages when you set up an IMAP account on your iPhone/iPad, you may need to control your settings once again and possibly also change the server port.

1. If you get the option to save your account, save it.

2. Then go to your account's settings: Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Your Account > Account Info

Make sure you have the correct settings:
Address: your email address
Host Name: m.work2go.net
Username: your email address
Password: enter your password again
SMTP: m.work2go.net

3. Click the SMTP > m.work2go.net (your primary server) control following:
Host Name: m.work2go.net
Username: your email address
Password: enter your password again
Enable SSL
Authentication: Password
Server Port: 465
Done > Account Information

4. Click Advanced at the bottom.
Scroll down to Settings for incoming.
Enable SSL
Authentication: Password
Server Port: 993

 

 


 

If you're still having problems

 

Then try to disable SSL on both incoming and outgoing server.
Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Your Account > Account Information > SMTP > m.work2go.net (your primary server)

Turn off SSL
Server Port: 2525
Done > Account Information
Click Advanced at the bottom.
Scroll down to the Settings for your incoming server.
Turn off SSL
Server Port: 143
